\\Illuminated Platform Edge - Increasing safety on the platform\\ SIUT’s Illuminated Platform Edge is made of modular concrete slabs with integrated light guides and smart electronics. Each element receives train-specific data and translates it into dynamic, colorful light signals directly on the platform surface. The system displays information such as stopping positions, door areas and carriage occupancy in real time. This improves orientation, enhances safety and supports more punctual train operations. With its robust construction and modern aesthetics, the system not only increases the attractiveness of stations but also helps operators manage passenger flows more efficiently.
