GTE- Electric car for children from 8 to 16 years old
About
Mobility for young people
GTE
We would like to present you a unique electric car for children and adolescents aged 8 to 16.
The purpose of using the car is for children to become familiar with all its functions and to test themselves in independent driving on a training ground or a fenced outdoor area. We recommend a hard surface: asphalt or concrete.
The car has: a seat, a seat belt, mirrors, turn signals, a horn, an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal; the possibility of reversing using the road view from the mirrors or on the monitor; parking using the road view on the monitor and parking sensors; the possibility of using four (4) turn signals.
Driving the car must only take place in the presence of an adult instructor!
After viewing the vehicle and becoming familiar with its functions, the child must adjust the seat, fasten the seat belt, adjust the mirrors, turn on the electricity via the main switch, insert the key into the lock and turn it to the >on< position. Finally, the young driver turns on the lights and the car is ready to drive.
First, it is necessary to drive at a speed of up to 5 km/h. Later, a young child who is skilled in driving can switch to a speed of up to 13 km/h with a switch.
An electric handbrake is activated at every stop. Only by pressing the gas pedal can the vehicle start again.
The GTE has:
- an 800 W motor that drives the rear wheels via a differential.
- drum brakes on the front wheels and an electric handbrake that is activated every time the car stops.
The vehicle is sprung and equipped with 8¨ tires.
Two speeds: up to 5 km/h and up to 13 km/h allow young future drivers to get acquainted with speed. Reversing always takes place at a lower speed.
The steering wheel moves the front wheels via a rack and pinion. There are switches for turning on the turn signals on the steering wheel.
The car is equipped with LED lighting and exterior mirrors.
For parking assistance, front and rear parking sensors and a front and rear camera with a display of the area on the monitor are installed.
The seat is adjustable and equipped with x seat belts.
The GTE's range is approximately 25 kilometers.
Purpose:
The GTE car is ideal for children aged 8 to 14 years old to learn to drive.
We would like to emphasize that the young driver
- drives independently for the first time,
- learns what independent driving means,
- accepts the responsibility of operating the vehicle independently while driving,
- recognizes road behavior while driving,
- follows all safety instructions,
- fully devotes himself to driving the car.
Young people aged 14 to 16 receive their first lessons in real driving in a driving school. This means getting to know all the functions of the car and, ultimately, with this knowledge, they can immediately start driving a real road car.
We visit schools and various events with our cars, where a large number of young drivers can learn all the functions of the car and finally drive independently on the driving range.
According to a survey among them, we found that only 10-15% of them have already sat behind the wheel of a similar vehicle or an independent vehicle.
As we have already mentioned, the first drives are carried out so that the young driver is necessarily accompanied by an adult or instructor while driving. The instructor checks and guides the young driver to operate the car correctly.
