About
OLDI – A Mobile Bed / Cart for Everyone Who Wants to Go Outside
Mobility, freedom, and connection with the surroundings – for all generations.
OLDI is a mobile bed on wheels (mobile bed / wheel bed) that enables people with mobility impairments or those who are bedridden to move safely outdoors and stay connected with nature and family.
The name Oldi reflects the idea that this is not just a cart for the elderly, but a warm and friendly aid for everyone who needs it.
Use and Functionality of OLDI
OLDI allows simple and comfortable transportation of people who are otherwise lying down or unable to walk, from indoor spaces to fresh air, among people, and into the company of their families.
With OLDI, users can:
-
leave their room or home and experience the surrounding nature,
-
enjoy time outdoors together with family,
-
visit nearby places and go for walks,
-
experience meaningful and deeply emotional moments that move them from isolation into a shared human environment.
OLDI is designed to be stable, safe, and well-balanced, while also allowing easy maneuverability, even over longer distances.
Who Benefits Most from OLDI
OLDI provides assistance and mobility for:
-
people who are immobile or have severe mobility limitations,
-
elderly individuals who are no longer able to walk independently,
-
young people and children with mobility impairments,
-
nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, clinics, health resorts, and home care settings,
-
families who wish to remain actively present with their loved ones.
OLDI is therefore an intergenerational aid – not just a solution for the elderly, but for people of all ages when movement is limited.
