Automated Traffic Management

Andreas Kuhn

CEO/CTO at ANDATA

Hallein, Austria

About

Automated Traffic Management

VERONET allows the development of an automated, self-organized traffic management without the need for its own traffic management center.

This will also enable small and medium-sized smart cities and regions to be able to manage traffic actively to solve regional transport problems.

Solution Components

VERONET's automated traffic management system includes

  • scenario management,

  • automated detection, forecasting and interpretation of the relevant traffic situation,

  • the model-based identification of the best possible measures from several options for action,

  • integrated action monitoring,

  • automated anomaly and incident detection.

These components can be individually integrated into existing traffic management systems for assistance or can be operated as independent, self-organized traffic management largely automated.
