The Society of Civil Engineers Zagreb (DGIZ) is a professional, non-profit association that brings together graduate and master engineers, technical specialists, and students of civil engineering who share a commitment to advancing the profession and fostering excellence in the construction industry. Based in Zagreb, DGIZ unites a community of more than 700 members dedicated to continuous learning, professional growth, and the promotion of engineering values such as responsibility, innovation, and collaboration. Our mission is to support the professional and educational development of civil engineers through a variety of activities, including: \- expert input on construction regulations and technical standards, \- organization of professional seminars, workshops, and technical site visits, \- exchange of knowledge and experience among members, \- continuous professional training in all areas of civil engineering. A major focus of our work is education and preparation for the professional licensing exam. We organize: \- preparatory courses for licensing exams in civil engineering, \- workshops covering both fundamental and advanced topics such as structural design, construction technology, materials, and project management, \- mentorship programs offering guidance, mock exams, and peer discussions, \- continuing education for practicing engineers who aim to stay current with the latest standards and technologies.
