My organisation

Since 1951, the Port of Hamburg has been represented in Austria with its own office – the oldest port representation in the world. At our Vienna branch, we maintain valuable relationships with companies in the transport industry, including shippers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, operators, and railway companies, as well as with associations and institutions of the maritime sector. Each year, we hold more than 200 personal meetings with decision-makers from these fields. Our responsibilities are diverse. We support member companies operating in the Austrian market and assist them with various matters. An important part of our work is building strategic networks that promote exchange between our members and the Austrian market. In addition, we regularly organize professional events, such as the Port of Hamburg Evening in Vienna – the largest maritime event in Austria, attracting up to 300 guests.
