The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS) is the largest and most influential business network in Slovenia. It represents companies across all regions and sectors, advocating for a better business environment and offering a wide range of services to support domestic and international operations. GZS acts as a strategic partner in shaping economic policy, providing expert advice, networking opportunities, and access to valuable business data. Operating under GZS, the Electrical Industry Association (ZEI) is a voluntary, non-profit association of companies active in the electrical and electronics sectors. ZEI unites over 150 member companies, which collectively generate more than half of the sector’s revenue and added value in Slovenia. It promotes innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness through expert groups, events, and strategic initiatives such as the green transition and digitalization. ZEI also organizes flagship events like the “Day of Slovenian Electrical Industry,” fostering collaboration and showcasing best practices. ZEI is also leading a Interreg Central Europe project Drive2Transform which is contributing to the development of regional support strategies and expert workshops that help companies navigate technological and market changes in the automotive industry.
