Zelisko and the Evolution of LED Trackside Signals
In 2000, Zelisko became one of the first companies worldwide to introduce LED-based trackside signals, marking a milestone in railway technology. In 2024, the company expanded its portfolio with the LED signal "Compact". Today, these high-intensity signals—with advanced lens systems—are a common sight along railway lines, ensuring excellent visibility in all lighting and weather conditions. Certified to SIL4 according to EN 50129, Zelisko’s systems can be easily adapted to meet national market requirements. The LED versions also offer compatibility with existing infrastructure, low energy consumption, and reduced lifecycle costs.
